Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes. Couples sessions are 75 minutes. Group sessions (when available) are 90 minutes. I find these lengths allow time to settle in, explore what’s important, and leave with something meaningful.
I offer a range of evidence-based therapies, including Emotionally focused therapy EFT., Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based therapies. My therapies modalities are person-centered and strength based. I also use Gottman Method for couples. I have training in Sex therapy informed practices.
You can bring anything that’s weighing on you — grief, caregiving stress, relationship struggles, anxiety, burnout, or just feeling overwhelmed. This is your space to be honest and supported.
Many extended health insurance plans cover sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist. I recommend checking with your provider to see what your plan includes. I’ll provide receipts you can submit for reimbursement. The receipt that will be provided will hold all the information needed to give to your insurance complany.
Our first session is a chance to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you here, what you hope for, and what kind of support you’re looking for. There’s no pressure to dive into anything too deep right away — we’ll go at your pace.
You’re not alone — most people feel that way at first. Starting therapy is a brave and caring step. I’m here to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported — exactly as you are.
Yes, I reserve a limited number of spots for sliding scale clients. If cost is a concern, please feel free to reach out — I’m happy to discuss options and see what’s possible for your situation.
